Frozen Banana Chocolate Bites

Is it breakfast? A snack? Meal? Yep!
Beans  (cocoa beans...) and fruit sounds like an any time of the day food to me! You'll love this.

Ingredients

Setup

  • 2-3 ripe large bananas
  • 1 cup of dairy-free, dark chocolate morsels (I like these)
  • 1 cup crushed almonds

Directions

Slice the bananas into about 2" pieces, place them cut side down on either parchment or wax paper on a tray and stick a toothpick in each one. Put them in the freezer for a few hours to freeze.

Gently melt the chocolate in a double boiler. Remove the frozen banana bites from the freezer and dunk them in the chocolate. Finally, roll them in the crushed almonds. Place them back in the freezer for about 15 minutes. Remove and devour!
